Made of solid hard rock maple, this vintage Tell City Chair Co. table is the one-of-a-kind heirloom quality piece you’ve been looking for to add a touch of shine and instant charm to your home. With a large smooth top hand-gilded in gold leaf, four turned legs, an open lower shelf and modern lined drawer, this sturdy piece would look great next to your couch in any transitional or grandmillennial-styled space.
The top features hand-applied gold leafing that has been sealed for protection and durability. The rest of the body is painted a rich dark navy and the inside of the pull-out drawer features a modern, geometric white and metallic gold contact paper.

Details
Refinished Colonial/grandmillennial-style side table made of solid hard rock maple in Tell City, Indiana.
Made by Tell City Chair Company, who has been in business since 1865.
A piece from the Young Republic Group line of furniture, which was first introduced in the mid 1950s and discontinued in 1995, was listed as the best selling dining room furniture in the nation for four straight years in the mid 1970’s, a full 20 years after its first introduction.
Closing its doors in 2011, the Tell City Chair Company is no longer making furniture and the Young Republic Group has since become very collectible.
Features two flat surfaces – the table top and an open shelf below – as well as four turned legs and a drawer for concealed storage.
Entire exterior and interior surfaces have been newly-painted in durable navy semi-gloss paint.
The table top is hand-gilded in gold leaf and finished with multiple layers of protective semi-gloss coating.
The drawer prominently features a beautiful sleek brushed brass pull.
The inside of the drawer is painted navy and features a modern geometric-patterned, durable white and metallic gold vinyl contact paper bottom for added style and protection.
The bottom of each foot has a new rubber bumper designed to prevent sliding and protect your floor from scratching.
